Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Fleetwood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in both classroom and individual settings.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Provide general classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2.
Work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
Offer 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence.
Assist with small-group interventions where needed.
Contribute to the wider school community with a proactive and supportive attitude.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children in KS1, either in schools or similar settings.
Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, offering patience, adaptability, and empathy.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with pupils and staff.
Be reliable, committed, and ready to make a difference from day one.
Hold (or be willing to apply for) a DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
