Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A warm and inclusive Primary school in central Islington is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated individual to provide high-quality support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school-based experience and a strong background in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) to make a real difference.
? Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
? Location: Islington
? Start Date: ASAP
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting students with a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Down's Syndrome, and MLD.
Working closely with the class teacher and the school's SENDCo to provide tailored, consistent support.
Carrying out observations and recording student progress.
Liaising with external professionals such as occupational therapists to help meet each student's needs.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working in a school setting is essential
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in supporting in schools
