Smile Education are recruiting for an Upper key stage 2 Teaching assistant to work in a Primary school in West Brommich. The school is rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection and has a strong and welcoming atmosphere within the staff team.
 
The teaching assistant role would be working full time with children in Key stage 2 , working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30.
 
The Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:

Encouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactive
Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members.
Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
Create a secure and positive environment for the child to learn and feel comfortable.To apply for this teaching assistant role, you will need:

An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.
A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).
Experience working with KS2 children 
Experience working with Primary or secondary school children.
At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years of work history.The benefits of this teaching assistant role:
