Year 1 Teacher – Middle Leadership & Subject Lead

Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in Hillingdon. This exciting opportunity offers middle leadership responsibilities, subject leadership (to be determined based on expertise), and the chance to be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils, fostering strong foundations in learning and development.

Lead on a curriculum subject across the school, driving excellence and innovation.

Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the SLT.

*

Provide mentorship and support to colleagues as a middle leader.

*

Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence.

*

Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS and has proven experience in KS1 teaching.

Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and a commitment to whole-school improvement.

Is passionate about early learning and understands how to inspire young minds.

Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Is reflective, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous professional development.
