£233 PAYE / £299 Umbrella

The Role – Mid Essex Neighbourhood Team

As a Senior Social Worker within the Mid Essex Neighbourhood Team (covering Chelmsford, Maldon and Braintree), you will:

Manage a complex caseload
Provide specialist advice and support to colleagues
Undertake assessments, reviews, mental capacity assessments and safeguarding work
Work closely with health, housing and voluntary sector partners
Promote independence, recovery and positive outcomes
You will have:

At least 3 years’ post-qualified Social Work experience
Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
Experience working in complex adult social care settings
Evidence of continued professional development
Understanding of commissioned care packages and financial implications
A driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to meet mobility requirements) is essential, as the role involves travel across Essex.
