Maths Teacher - Stafford - ASAP Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a dedicated Maths specialist looking for your next rewarding teaching opportunity?

Academics are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Stafford area, a successful 14-19 secondary school, to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher for an ASAP start. This post is available on a full-time or part-time basis until Christmas 2025, with a possibility for extension into the new year. You'll be joining a supportive department and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

The Role

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS4 & KS5.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons that inspire progress and confidence in students.
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals.
Contribute to departmental planning and moderation.
Work collaboratively within a successful Maths department.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Maths at GCSE and ideally A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to motivate students.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Flexibility and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
