Job Title: Regional Sales Engineer – South of England (Field-Based)

Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time
We are supporting our client – a global leader in advanced materials and precision plastics engineering – in the search for a Regional Sales Engineer to cover the South of England.
This is a key field-based role focused on supporting OEM clients across a range of manufacturing sectors, identifying new applications for engineered plastics, and delivering tailored technical solutions in collaboration with internal engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with OEM clients across the Southern region
Provide technical support on material selection, application fit, and design queries
Interpret technical drawings to support proposals and quotations
Work closely with engineering, production, and inside sales teams to deliver commercially sound solutions
Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, project updates, and pipeline activity using Salesforce
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in technical sales within a manufacturing or OEM environment
Sound understanding of machining processes, engineered plastics, or component manufacturing
Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Comfortable liaising with engineers and internal design teams
Familiar with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP
Remote covering the South of England with a willingness to travel across the region
