? Your Role
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:

Deliver inspiring Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop both technical skills and creative confidence

*

Teach a broad range of design and technology topics, encouraging practical skills and design processes

*

Foster a classroom environment that encourages students to think creatively, work independently, and collaborate with others

*

Plan and deliver a rich, engaging curriculum in collaboration with a talented department team

*

Provide effective feedback and assessments that help students track their progress and reach their full potential

*

Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as design exhibitions, creative clubs, and school events

*

Encourage students to apply their creativity and critical thinking in practical projects

✅ What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a motivated Design and Technology Teacher who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is eligible to obtain QTS by September 2025

*

Has a degree in Design and Technology or a related field

*

Has a passion for teaching Design and Technology and is committed to inspiring students

*

Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

*

Is either an ECT looking for a structured induction programme or an experienced teacher with a proven track record of success in the classroom

*

Is eager to contribute to a positive school culture and work collaboratively with colleagues
