Temporary to Permanent contract

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm

About the role

We are looking for an KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Manchester area. 

Whether you are starting a career as a Teaching Assistant or have past experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
Supporting children on a group and 1-1 basis
Leading interventions and occasional class cover
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning
Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a supportive team culture
A Teaching Assistant – KS1 requirements:

Previous experience as an KS1 Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
Required to have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification  
Outstanding communication skills
Inspirational role model who is highly motivated and reliable
Confident in working with children on a 1:1 or group basis
Able to commute to Manchester
Able to provide an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to put one into process
