The Role – Pastoral Assistant
We are looking for a committed and nurturing Pastoral Assistant to join a specialist PRU in Southwark. In this role, you will support students aged 11–16 with SEMH needs, providing tailored emotional and behavioural support on both a 1:1 and group basis. You’ll work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and families to ensure students feel safe, valued, and are supported in overcoming barriers to learning. Your duties will include mentoring, wellbeing tracking, contributing to behaviour plans, and helping students engage in their education journey.

The School – PRU
This all-girls PRU based in Southwark caters for students with SEMH and complex needs who require additional pastoral care. The school provides a therapeutic and structured learning environment, focusing on building confidence, emotional regulation, and academic engagement. With accessible transport links, the school is easily reachable via bus and underground services.
