Futures manufacturing are looking to appoint a Production Team Leader to work within a fast paced manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region. Due to a period of growth our client is looking to take on enthusiastic Production Team Leaders who can manage a small team and implement lean strategies.

The successful Production Team Leader will be well versed in Kaizen, 5s, Lean and be able to give strong examples of successfully implementing these tools whilst ensuring production is carried out in the most efficient way possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support a small team of semi-skilled and skilled operatives.
Implement lean strategies.
Work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ensure a safe working environment is paramount.
Manage, sickness, disciplinarians, and bereavements.
Oversee projects from start to finish managing stakeholders during the process.
Reduce downtime of machinery.
Ensure production levels are in line with targets and client expectations.

Skills and qualifications

Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to implement lean strategies.
