Responsibilities and duties of the Commercial Manager

Reporting to the Senior Management team you will:

Ensure all commercial processes are established, implemented, and adhered to
Contribute to business growth improvements
Draft and develop robust commercial documentation, in collaboration with Legal, to safeguard company interests and capitalise on opportunities
Ensure contractual obligations are maintained
Effectively communicate contract terms to internal and external stakeholders with a focus on financials
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Participate in pre-contract negotiations and agreements
Engage in bid processes to identify and manage commercial risks
Provide training and mentoring within the Commercial Team

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Proven track record in commercial or contract management roles, especially managing large, multi-million-pound contracts with a strong foundation in corporate finance, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Understanding of contract law and industry regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
Leadership experience, with a focus on team development and performance
