Your Role

As our new Year 6 Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet the learning needs of upper Key Stage 2 pupils.
✅ Establish a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment.
✅ Support children’s development in reading, writing, mathematics, and wider foundation subjects.
✅ Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
✅ Work collaboratively with the other Year 6 Teacher and Key Stage 2 staff to ensure consistency and share best practices.
✅ Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support children’s development at home and school.
✅ Contribute to our school’s wider life, values, and commitment to every child achieving their best.

What We’re Looking For

✔ A qualified teacher with QTS.
✔ Proven experience working within Key Stage 2, ideally as a Year 6 Teacher.
✔ A deep understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and statutory assessment requirements.
✔ A nurturing, child-centred teaching style that supports every learner.
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and to inclusive, high-quality primary education.
