FJA are looking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical to strengthen their Delivery team across their Southern Water framework on their Burham site. Based on site you will assist the Project Manager in managing the design, construction, commissioning and “close out” of projects.

Assist with the Project Management strategy – understand the overall project goals and objectives to ensure alignment of all project activities
Assist in the production of the contract programme; monitor programme and produce progress reports to continually monitor progress and report any deviations or delays
Maintain communication with subcontractors and suppliers at all stages of the project
Collaborate with site management on design and procurement issues and to ensure any design changes or decisions align with project requirements
Work with the project team to compile and finalise all necessary documentation for project completion and handover
Adhere to confidentiality agreements and company policies regarding sensitive project information
Facilitate technical discussions and coordination between engineering teams and supply chain partners to ensure all technical requirements are understood by all parties
Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement among project stakeholders
Collaborate with the project quantity surveyor to develop and maintain accurate cost plans and identify any variations or deviations from the budget and assist in developing mitigation plans to address them  
The successful Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical must have:

Project Engineering experience
Experience of delivering utilising NEC3 form of contract
Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.
Preferably APMP or equivalent
Previous experience within water treatment (Non-Infrastructure)
Previously mechanical project engineering background preferred
