Inventory Support Controller

Wotton, Surrey – own transport is required due to rural location

Azenta Life Sciences specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of consumables and bench top instrumentation for the life sciences industry.

The business is looking to recruit an experienced Inventory Support Controller to be based at the Manufacturing site in Wotton, Surrey.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Organize & run yearly full stock count

* Cycle Counting confirming physical inventory counts match records

* Investigating and correcting Stock Discrepancies

* System Data Cleansing – Location, warehouse & transaction checks.

* Check and release of WIP daily Issues

* Monitor / Manage Scrap Process

* Set up and maintenance of products and kit lines on

* Supplier Returns

* Investigate & analyse stock integrity issues, providing best practise solutions

* Support to all departments to resolve Inventory related issues.

* QC – Delivery discrepancies, Lot Number issues, Unit of Measure issues (UOM), Supplier Returns.

* Production – Kits Specifications, UOM issues, WIP stock Issue & Receipts.

* Warehouse – Location issues, Lot Number issues, UOM issues, Transfer Orders.

* Finance – Delivery / Invoice issues, Cost price corrections.

* Reporting – Compile & maintain reports for inventory performance.

* Review stock levels for Expiry issues / Stock levels.

* New Supplier set-up process

What You’ll Bring

* Experience in inventory/operations/supply chain role

* Experience in a manufacturing environment with MTS and/or MTO products is desirable

* Analytical background with strong Excel and database skills

* Ability to work in and cultivate a collaborative environment

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Great communication skills

* Excellent numeracy skills
