We’re hiring for a Toolmaker to join a precision-led manufacturing business based in Oldham.

This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll work to tight tolerances and get involved in a wide range of toolmaking activities.

What’s on offer?

* £15.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

* Monday – Friday (38-hour week)

* Flexible start/finish time

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Extra day’s holiday every year (up to 7 years)

* Overtime paid at an enhanced rate

What will you be doing as a Toolmaker?

* Toolmaking for moulding applications, including full refurb and maintenance

* Stripping, cleaning, and assembling moulds on a regular 16-week cycle

* Precision work using grinders, EDM, wiring, and polymer machinery

* Producing components to tight tolerances from dyed roughed-out materials

* Ensuring tools are in optimal condition through fault finding and preventative maintenance

What do you need?

* A recognised qualification in engineering or toolmaking

* Previous experience in a similar role within a precision engineering environment
