Financial Accountant
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Financial Reporting sub-team in Controllership - a team responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, the balance sheet flux, SOX controls and payroll. Specifically, the day-to-day responsibilities of this position are focused on payroll.

This role sits within the Building Operations & Experience ("BOE") segment of CBRE looking after the UK & Ireland ("UK&I") business, which has an annual turnover of circa $3bn.

What You'll Do

Post payroll during month-end close by established deadlines for the 5x UK&I entities totalling 10,000+ employees.

Act as an effective business partner between Controllership and Business Finance to assist with payroll queries.

Prepare payroll balance sheet reconciliations in line with SOX requirements.

Execute key payroll SOX controls ensuring that the control is completed by set deadlines and a high quality of documentation is produced.

Assist with any queries that are raised by Controllership leadership, the EMEA Reporting & Oversight team and the US Corporate team.

Help maintain process notes on payroll controls and processes.

Continually seek to identify process efficiencies that could be implemented.

In conjunction with the other reporting team members, when necessary assist in delivery of Group and Statutory audits deliverables in line with internal & external / statutory deadlines.

What You'll Need

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent

Experience of working with UK (and potentially Ireland) payroll

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
