What You’ll Be Doing
As an experienced Physics Teacher, your role will include:

Delivering high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students are engaged, challenged, and inspired.

Creating and implementing differentiated Physics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our academically gifted students.
*
Leading practical experiments and investigations that help students connect theory to real-world applications.

Monitoring and assessing student progress, using data to support their development and raise attainment in Physics.
*
Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the Physics curriculum.
*
Playing an active role in extracurricular activities, including science clubs, enrichment days, and student-led science projects.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Physics Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related field.

Has a proven track record of successfully teaching Physics to students aged 11–16, ideally in a high-achieving academic environment.

Is skilled in planning and delivering challenging and engaging lessons that promote deep understanding of Physics.

Has a proactive approach to professional development and is eager to contribute to the growth of the Science Department.

Is passionate about Physics and is committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Is a strong team player who will contribute to the ethos and values of the school.
