Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Location: Durham 
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 OTE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
 
Overview:
We are currently looking for a Mobile Forklift Engineer to cover the Durham / DH postcode area. This is a field-based role carrying out maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on a range of forklifts and related equipment at customer sites.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and maintain forklift trucks and materials handling equipment
Attend breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis
Complete all job-related paperwork and service reports
Provide a high standard of customer service and maintain professional conduct on site
Manage your own schedule and parts ordering where required 
Requirements:

Mechanical background (e.g. plant, HGV, automotive, agricultural, or similar)
Good fault-finding skills – hydraulics, electrics, or diesel systems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
