Primary/Secondary SEMH Teaching Assistant - Full-Time

A specialist setting in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups. This full-time role begins on 3rd November 2025 and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and managing classroom behaviour.
Build positive relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and engagement.
Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals to promote pupil wellbeing.Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
