We are currently recruiting electricians based at our offices in Burton-upon-Trent, Milton Keynes and London (Westfield).
The key responsibilities of this role as an Electrical Engineer are:
* Fully qualified Electrician holding a relevant Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
* Conducting surveys of sites with existing or planned electrical systems.
* Preparing electrical installation plans and technical schematics.
* Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
* Ensuring all electrical systems comply with national electrical safety standards and regulations.
* Overseeing ongoing electrical installations and offering technical support to installation teams as required.
* Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to carry out installations effectively.
* Completing job sheets and maintaining accurate records of materials used.
* Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
* Advising management on the replacement of ageing electrical equipment to mitigate risks.
* Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshooting faults using appropriate testing tools.
* Regular travel and working away from home, delivering a variety of projects for clients across the UK.
Qualifications and Skills of an Electrical Engineer:
* 17th/18th Edition
* EAL/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical discipline.
* Client facing experience (desirable)
* CSCS card advantageous but not essential.
* Full clean driving licence
The employment package for an Electrical Engineer is:
* 37.5 hours per week plus overtime
* JIB+ rates: Basic of £35,000 with earnings up to £58,600 per year with overtime
* Plus, Enhanced Lodge and travel allowance.
