Are you a highly organised, proactive and professional individual with a knack for communication and a sense of humour? Quokka Education is looking for a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to play a key role in supporting the leadership of one of Hampshire’s top-performing secondary schools.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a fantastic Headteacher, acting as the first point of contact for all stakeholders and overseeing key communications and diary management. You’ll also lead on school marketing efforts, support open events, and play an integral part in coordinating our social media presence.
Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm (4:00pm Fridays)
Contract: Term time + 3 additional weeks
Salary: Actual salary £24,795 – £27,280, depending on experience (Grade D, FTE: £26,918 – £29,616)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has strong administrative and organisational skills
*
Is confident managing diaries, meetings, and communications at a senior level
*
Has excellent ICT skills and understands the impact of social media and marketing
*
Can remain calm under pressure and use discretion at all times
*
Is confident taking minutes and working collaboratively with SLT and stakeholders
*
Can juggle priorities and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced school environment
Desirable:
*
Experience in a school setting
*
Line management experience
*
Knowledge of SIMS or similar MIS
