Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our Clients FM team, operating across various sites in the Midlothian area. This is a mobile role where you will take the lead in supervising a small team of Facilities Assistants and supporting the Facilities Manager in delivering high-quality and customer-focused FM services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of Facilities Assistants across multiple sites

*

Support the Facilities Manager in the daily delivery of facilities services

*

Oversee a range of soft FM services, including:

*

Security

*

Reception duties

*

Portering

*

Caretaking

*

Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works and ensure timely resolution via the Helpdesk system

*

Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are carried out safely and recorded accurately

*

Conduct site inspections and ensure all areas are maintained to high standards

*

Monitor contractor performance and assist with site access for external suppliers

*

Promote a strong health & safety culture, conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments

*

Manage stock levels and order supplies as required

*

Respond to urgent requests and incidents in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a supervisory facilities management role (essential)

*

Strong knowledge of soft services and basic understanding of maintenance/compliance tasks

*

Good IT skills and experience using Helpdesk/CAFM systems

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills

*

Ability to work independently and flexibly across various locations

*

Full UK driving licence (essential)
