We’re recruiting experienced PIP 1 Investigating Officers for temporary positions within investigation teams in West Surrey, with roles available in both Domestic Abuse and Neighbourhood Policing units. These roles are ideal for professionals looking to make a real difference in safeguarding communities and supporting the justice process from report to trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of PIP 1-level criminal investigations.
Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects.
Gather and assess evidence, including CCTV and digital data.
Prepare case files and attend court as Officer in the Case.
Collaborate with internal teams and external safeguarding partners.Requirements:
Proven investigative experience and interview skills.
Sound understanding of criminal law and procedures.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
