Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Wakefield area who are seeking a committed and inspirational PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter Holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with strong behaviour-management skills and a passion for engaging students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education.

About the Role

Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork and resilience
Planning, marking and assessment in line with school and DfE expectations
Contributing to extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures
Working collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school staff

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and a proactive approach to supporting learners
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
