SEN Teaching Assistant – September 2025 start – Greenwich – KS2

Milk Education are currently working alongside a high performing, three-form entry primary school who are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a long-term basis, starting in September 2025 for the 25/26 academic year.

You will be joining a modern primary school, focused on equality, diversity and inclusion in the heart of Greenwich. The school does not offer on-site parking, however there are great transport links for those commuting via public transport, with the nearest station being a 10 minute walk to the school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to join an “Outstanding” school to support pupils in helping to reach their potential, as well as maximising the resources within the school.

Your Responsibilities:

* Work in a 1:1 capacity with children with ASD, supporting their teaching and learning, as well as supporting with intervention times when the key child needs time out of the classroom
* Working alongside the SENCo to ensure the best education experience possible and ensuring that the key child receives the necessary support for their journey and development.
* Supporting the class teacher with maintaining classroom displays, lesson plans and classroom management.

What you will need:

* Minimum of 6 months of classroom-based experience as a Teaching Assistant in the UK
* A clean DBS and relevant right to work in the UK
* Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Supporting Teaching and Learning Support, etc.) is preferred
