Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in education or for experienced individuals looking to make a difference in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence

Take the register and ensure a calm and focused learning environment

Distribute and oversee the completion of pre-set work – no planning or marking required

Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school's behaviour policy

Support students in staying on task and managing their time effectively

What We’re Looking For:

Confident individuals with strong classroom presence

Ability to manage behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working with secondary-aged children is desirable or qualifications such as QTS

Flexible, proactive, and reliable
