About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our growing team, covering Northampton and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, motivated professional to work on a wide range of commercial projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on commercial electrical systems.

*

Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.

*

Work on systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and data cabling.

*

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

*

Conduct electrical inspections and issue relevant certification.

*

Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

*

Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

*

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS7671)

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Proven experience in commercial electrical work.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable (but not essential):

*

Test & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).

*

Experience with BMS, HVAC controls, or energy efficiency systems.
