We are currently seeking a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Newport, supporting pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties and developmental conditions. Excellent rate of pay: £444.60 to £509.60 per week
Availability: Day-to-day supply and full-time roles available
Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekends off

The specialist school works closely with Vision for Education to recruit enthusiastic and skilled staff. As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support students who have a diagnosis of Autism and other co-existing conditions such as ADHD, sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, mood disorders, and more.

Experience supporting autistic pupils or those with challenging behaviour is beneficial, but not essential. What matters most is your positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to learn. You will be helping pupils with communication, sensory, and personal care needs while promoting independence and confidence in their learning.
