We’re seeking an AIT Technician to join our client’s dynamic team in the exciting world of spaceflight hardware. In this role, you'll be at the heart of assembling and integrating spacecraft sub-systems, payloads, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for space missions. You’ll also play a crucial role in prototyping, modifying electronics boards, harnessing, and prepping systems for space deployment.

Responsibilities

Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and thermal sub-systems, payloads, and GSE components in line with technical drawings and quality protocols.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain Mechanical (MGSE) and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
Inspect and verify components to ensure dimensional and functional compliance.
Perform testing, troubleshoot integration issues, and carry out quality control checks.
Document processes and keep detailed records of integration and assembly activities.
Identify and resolve anomalies in coordination with the Quality team.
Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, including adherence to ESD and HSE protocols. 
Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in space hardware assembly and integration.
Strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly, including cable harnessing and crimping.
Skilled with integration tools across thermal, electrical, and mechanical domains.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and production specs.
Trained in high-standard soldering (IPC certification preferred).
Familiar with ECSS and IPC standards, and cleanroom best practices.
Experience with MGSE, EGSE, and space sub-system environmental testing.
Detail-oriented, highly accurate, and capable of working independently or in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent manual dexterity and precision when using tools and equipment.
Prior experience in spaceflight hardware development.
Knowledge of space standards and quality control procedures.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Adaptability to rapidly evolving projects and integration environments.
