My client, a highly-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, in the exciting Northern city of Hull.

Essential Criteria:

A Bachelor's of Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
A knowledge of flood risk and drainage strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
A willingness to learn and consistently develop technical skills and knowledge through self-study and hands-on experienceIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer to have the following:

Working knowledge of a range of relevant software packages, including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, etc.
A demonstrable commitment to improving your knowledge and skills in the fieldAs a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be joining a growing team of dedicated engineering specialists, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region. As you progress through your career, you will take on a range of different responsibilities, including the following:

Contributing to projects that develop flood risk and drainage strategies
Working with the wider team to ensure project goals are delivered to the highest standard and within given timeframes
Undertaking the relevant technical analysis using software packages such as AutoCAD, etc.
Preparing and issuing accurate technical information regarding projects, including calculations, drawings, and models
Liaising with a range of public and private stakeholders across the sector
Contributing to and carrying out site meetings and inspections
Developing and maintaining client relations
