The Role

As a Construction Planner, you will play a pivotal role in project success, ensuring the delivery of construction projects on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing detailed, robust construction programmes across various project stages, from tender to completion.

Collaborating with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to create accurate and realistic project timelines.

*

Conducting regular progress reviews, updating schedules, and identifying potential delays or risks.

*

Analysing project data to provide insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.

*

Using industry-standard planning software to produce reports and visual aids for project stakeholders.

*

Supporting bid submissions with pre-construction planning expertise and accurate programme estimates.

*

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all project plans.

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:

Proven experience as a Construction Planner within the construction industry.

*

Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject.

*

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming techniques, and critical path analysis.

*

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

*

Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in construction planning.

A proactive approach with attention to detail and organisational skills.
