Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager (Contract – Outside IR35)
Location: Liverpool
Project: Major Civils Package
Duration: Long-term

We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager on a long-term contract, Outside IR35, to work on a major civils package on a large infrastructure project in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental requirements on site

* Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, client standards, and project policies

* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours

* Review and support RAMS and method statements

* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

* Support project teams in implementing safe systems of work

* Investigate incidents and near misses, producing reports and corrective actions

* Liaise with subcontractors, site management, and client representatives

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Health & Safety role on major civils or infrastructure projects

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)

* Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation

* Civils background.

* Ability to work autonomously in a site-based role

* Relevant CSCS card

Desirable:

* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

* GradIOSH / CMIOSH

* Experience on civils projects

Contract Details:

* Outside IR35

* Long-term contract

* Competitive day rate (DOE)

* Liverpool-based site

* Immediate or short-notice start
