Location: Whiston Hospital, LG2 Nightingale House, Stoney Lane, Whiston, L35 5DR
Rate: £80,000 - £100,000 Per Annual Year (Depending on pay method
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: Circa 8 weeks, with a view to permanent

About the Role

JobMatcha Recruitment are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support Vinci on-site at Whiston Hospital. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day QS and commercial management of the Lifecycle Works account, ensuring the smooth running and financial control of ongoing healthcare projects.

This is a fantastic short-term contract with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

*

Day-to-day commercial and QS management of the Lifecycle Works account.

*

Manage costs, budgets, and project forecasting.

*

Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations.

*

Support the commercial team in contract administration.

*

Ensure compliance with company and client financial procedures.

*

Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

*

Highly IT literate.

*

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction.

*

RICS or CIOB membership preferred but not essential.

*

Experience in term contracting desirable.

*

Healthcare / PFI project experience highly desirable.

*

DBS required – Vinci will undertake checks.
