We are recruiting for two full time Health and Safety Co-ordinators on a 12 month fixed term basis. This role will be mainly working from home with travel 1-2 days per week (potentially including an overnight stay). We cover locations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

In this role you will:
Undertake health and safety related activities with a focus on reducing incidents through a proactive practice approach
Under the direction of the Health and Safety advisor and Head of Health and Safety, they will promote good health and safety practice across the organisation.
Undertake policy and procedural audits to support our services to achieve Health and Safety compliance.
Identify areas for improvement and with guidance from qualified Health and Safety professionals, identify and monitor actions to drive improvement.
Produce reports to support management of Health and Safety Compliance.
Proactively support any events requiring an immediate response such as fact finds, investigations or internal case reviews.
Collaborate and work with Quality Co-Ordinators and local Service Managers 
We are looking for someone who:
has experience of working in a role that has a focus on Health and Safety, ideally within Health and Social Care or Property
is a great communicator and enjoys working with all stakeholders
has evidence of current Health and Safety training – IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are desirable but not essential
