Hello,

My client in Ashford is looking for a Tool Setter due to expansion.

Reporting To - Production Manager/ production assistant

Main purpose:

* To be able to set condition and optimise tools

* Tool trials

* To ensure quality standards are maintained

Duties & Responsibilities:

* To perform tool changes

* To be able to clean, spray tools after production run is finished

* To monitor and maintain quality levels and standards

* To strip and clean tools and gas vents

* To be able to set up run after tool change

* To ensure the quality of 1st off products and ensure that this is registered with QA department

* To maintain and optimize machine parameters throughout the production

* To be able to resolve production and tooling issues

* To be able to changed heater and other small machine maintenance

* To ensure that tools allocated to machine capabilities

* To understand the different materials

* To record and keep a record of setting on jobs

* To record and maintain proper records on oil changes or machine problems

* To be able to estimate cycle times on jobs

* To cover to charge hands in the event of sickness or holidays

* To be able to communicate with all departments.

To be able to perform from time to time tasks required by management

Location: Ashford

Salary: £12.50 hr
