Salary: £120 - £150 per day and then in line with the M-Scale of the role
About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundations of children’s learning, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
Tracking and assessing pupils’ progress to support continued development
Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child's individual needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Contributing to a positive and collaborative school culture
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching in KS1 (although strong ECT applications are welcome)
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a child‑centred approach
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to inclusion, high standards, and ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
