Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Fixed Wire Electrician to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be required to cover customer sites in the Edinburgh area.

This position also comes with a company vehicle (private use too), fuel card, testing equipment with laptop/PDA, uniform, bonus incentives, and on call rate.

Hours: 40 per week (weekend and overtime available)

Salary: £39K with earning potential of £50K

Daily Duties -

Carry out Inspecting and Testing on electrical installations (EICR's) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
Complete reports and certification associated with inspection and testing
Carry out LED lighting replacements both in hours and out of hours and in line with the project scheduleCandidate Requirements -

18th Edition qualification
City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline
