Are you an experienced retail leader looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a motivated and hands-on Store Manager to take charge of our busy petrol station forecourt in Okehampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, drive performance, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the forecourt and convenience store. You’ll ensure smooth operations across all areas, including fuel sales, food-to-go, stock management, compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service

* Maintain high operational standards, including stock control, merchandising, and cleanliness

* Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and environmental regulations

* Handle staff rotas, training, and performance reviews

* Drive sales and control costs to meet financial targets

* Oversee the safe and secure handling of fuel and cash

About You:

* Previous experience in a retail management role (petrol station or convenience store preferred)

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Confident in decision-making and problem-solving

* Ability to work under pressure and lead by example

* Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays

* Familiar with EPOS systems, stock management, and basic HR practices
