We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Salary: £45,000 per year

About the Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality standards across the production process, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality requirements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:

Lead and manage PPAP, APQP, and FMEA activities

Drive effective problem-solving using 8D methodologies

Maintain compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)

Operate and interpret data from CMM equipment and PolyWorks software

Ensure accurate submission and maintenance of IMDS data

Support supplier quality and internal audit processes

Quality Engineer – Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or automotive environment

Strong knowledge of quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and 8D

Familiarity with ISO quality systems

Hands-on experience with CMM machines and PolyWorks

Experience working with IMDS submissions

Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
