Role: Test Technician

Location: Guildford

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Per Week: 38.5

Pay Rate: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

Purpose of the Role:
To perform and oversee electronic test activities, ensuring products are delivered to specification, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires a hands-on approach, technical competence, and the ability to lead and support other test staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and carry out electronic testing in accordance with established processes and procedures.

Conduct fault diagnosis and repair on electronic circuits and assemblies down to component level.

Perform testing using standard bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.

Ensure all work complies with relevant quality management standards (e.g., ISO9001) and industry best practices.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.

Experience using a variety of electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal/function generator, etc.).

Familiarity with IPC and quality standards (e.g., ISO9001).
