About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent leadership position commencing in September 2025. As Head of Maths, you will lead and manage a successful and well-resourced department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will play a key role in shaping curriculum development, mentoring staff, and raising achievement through outstanding subject leadership.

We Are Looking For a Leader Who:

Is an experienced Maths teacher with a strong track record of raising attainment

*

Has prior experience in a leadership role (e.g. Second in Department, KS4/KS5 Coordinator, or similar)

*

Holds QTS or a PGCE and a degree in Maths or a related field

*

Can lead and inspire a team through a clear vision and strong communication

*

Is confident in curriculum design, assessment, and data analysis

*

Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion, innovation, and high expectations for all learners
