About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham for a dedicated and qualified English Teacher (QTS) to join their enthusiastic teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on student progress and outcomes in English.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 6 months working with children experience in the UK and be able to demonstrate confidence in supporting a range of learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience with both KS3 and KS4 is essential, and KS5 would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet individual student needs
Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*
Minimum 6 months experience in a UK working with children
*
Sound knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies
*
Ability to support students with SEN within a mainstream setting
*
Commitment to safeguarding and the promotion of student wellbeing
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
