Remedy Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a highly specialised SEN school in South West London. This is a long-term, full-time role working within purpose-built SEN units designed to support students with severe autism and complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with severe autism, complex learning difficulties, and behavioural needs

Working within small classes of 6-12 students alongside experienced SEN staff

Carrying out personal care and hoisting duties as required

Supporting students with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs

Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning programmes

Promoting a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in an SEN school or setting

Comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training desirable)

Experience supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour

Resilient, calm, and proactive under pressure

A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare

Team Teach or similar de-escalation training is an advantage
