We are currently recruiting an experienced Reach Stacker Operator to join our client at a busy container storage yard. This is a temporary role for an initial 12-week period, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duration: 12 weeks - Potential to go Permanent

Pay Rate: £13.13 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 16:30 (overtime and weekend work may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a reach stacker/container lifter to move and position containers and isotanks
Work within an environment handling bulk chemicals in isotanks, with full awareness of emergency procedures
Complete daily safety checks using company-provided technology/apps
Participate in safety walk-round audits
Complete required paperwork and administration, including templates and interchange documentation
Adhere strictly to terminal safety procedures, traffic management rules, and operating processes
Carry out safe liner removal and fitting in bulk containers to prepare for customer use
Remove garment rails and other container fittings to return units to general-purpose specification
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe terminal environment
Accurately report any faults, damage, incidents, or near-misses to supervisors

Requirements:

Valid Reach Stacker licence or relevant experience
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Ability to complete basic paperwork and use digital systems
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team
