Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for a Logistics Operative / FLT Fork Lift Truck Driver / Forklift Truck Operative to join their team. This is a permanent job from the start.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF:

* You have at least 6 months experience of using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
* You have an in-date Counterbalance FLT License
* You drive and have your own transport (essential as no public transport)
This role will suit someone with previous experience as a FLT / Forklift Truck Operator, Distribution Operative, Logistics Operator, Yard Operative, Warehouse Operative, that has recent experience of operating a Counterbalance FLT (in-date license).
Salary: £27,185 per year.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 6.00am – 4.00pm, 40 hours a week (3 day weekend!)
The main duties and responsibilities within the role are to:
* Drive a FLT to move and transport products in a highly accurate and efficient manner
* Pick, pack, prepare and load customer orders
* Undertake other general distribution activities as required
* Work safely in a busy distribution environment, with your own and others safety of primary importance
Requirements:
* You must possess an in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
* 6 months+ experience as a Forklift Truck Driver
* You need to be highly efficient and accurate with a good eye for detail
* Previous experience within a heavy production / manufacturing environment would be an advantage
