Laminator Operator

Our successful manufacturing client, based in Hortonwood is looking for a temporary to permanent laminator Operative to join their busy and proactive team.
As part of the role, you will be producing products on time at the correct specification and correct quality standards, monitoring the SAP computer system to ensure the machine plan is followed and reading and following works Order Instructions along with other data available to ensure the machine is fed i.e. Film, Inks, Cores etc.
In addition, you will be completing daily housekeeping in line with 5S standards, ensuring materials are at the machine and readily available by effective planning to ensure the machine is continually operating, completing all documentation as required and communicate using the shift handover book together with verbal communication when taking over and handing over the shift.
As part of the busy and varied role, you will be reporting all machine faults as they occur using the procedures in place, maintaining a safe working environment and activity, supporting the continuing development of a safety culture.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a laminator
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles
• Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
• IT Computer Skills
• Understanding of substrates

Hours
8-5
Monday – Friday

Salary
£13.45 per hour
