Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with a reputable main contractor based in Tunbridge Wells, known for delivering high-quality industrial steel frame projects across the South East.

Due to a growing order book, we are seeking a committed and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role will suit someone with a solid background in industrial or commercial builds, particularly steel frame construction.

The Role:

Manage project costs across multiple steel frame industrial units.

*

Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payment processes.

*

Prepare cost reports and monitor financial performance of projects.

*

Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial success from pre-construction to final account.

*

Support estimating and tender processes where required.

Ideal Candidate:

*

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a main contracting environment.

*

Proven track record working on steel frame industrial or commercial units.

*

Good understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT).

*

Accurate, analytical, and commercially aware.

*

Degree or HNC qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.
