Key Responsibilities

Assist patients/residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

Support with mobility, repositioning, and use of aids and equipment.

Assist with serving meals and drinks, encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration.
*
Observe and record patients’ physical and emotional conditions, reporting any changes to the nurse or supervisor.
*
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
*
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as required.
*
Support with rehabilitation and daily activities to promote independence.
*
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
*
Maintain confidentiality and follow infection prevention and control policies.
*
Complete care documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications and Experience
