Job Title: Contracts Manager – Passive Fire Protection

Salary: £62,500 - £67,500 (Plus company vehicle)

With a strong reputation for safety, compliance, and technical excellence, they work across a wide range of sectors, providing critical protection through steel fire protection and penetration seal installations as their primary service amongst many others.

The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage our passive fire protection projects across London. This is a key position within our business, requiring a proactive and technically skilled professional who can lead multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

* Manage 5 to 8 live projects at any one time, with values ranging from £5,000 to £250,000

* Oversee site activities including steel protection and penetration sealing works

* Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure high-quality delivery

* Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and internal QA/QC processes

* Monitor project progress, budgets, and site safety

* Provide technical support and ensure correct installation methods and materials are used

* Prepare and review RAMS, progress reports, and client updates

* Attend site meetings and liaise closely with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection – Essential

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification – Essential

* Proven experience in the passive fire protection sector

* Strong technical knowledge of fire-stopping systems and installation standards

* Excellent project management and communication skills

* Ability to multitask and work under pressure across several sites
